Barbara J. Mack
Barbara J. Mack is founder and president of the consulting firm Pingry Hill Enterprises, Inc. For the past ten years, Ms. Mack has worked as a consultant, editor, writer, and researcher on projects involving alternative investments, global economics, and technological innovation. She has expertise in venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and international development.
Ms. Mack’s previous work experience includes appointments as a research associate at Harvard Business School, a case writer at the Kennedy School of Government, and a researcher at MIT. She has also served as lead writer and editor on publications projects for The World Bank and other intergovernmental organizations.
In terms of professional development in finance, she passed the Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor's Law Exam in 2008. In 2009, she completed the first level of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst program. She is currently a delegate in the Certificate on Quantitative Finance program (2010), directed by Dr. Paul Wilmott through 7City Learning in London.
Ms. Mack has a Masters degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, with a focus on law and policy in the European Union. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Tufts University, also completing extensive course work in Anthropology and Fine Arts.
